Six unique packages to choose from #1 Three Rivers, Three Days Experience the Eastern Sierras premier fly fishing waters. We'll start on the East Fork of the Carson river conviently located on mile from the Bed Bike and Bagel. The secound day will be spent on the West Fork of the Carson River which is teaming with wild and stocked Rainbow, Brown and lahontan Cutthroat trout. The last day will be spent on the East Fork of the Walker River with it's trout population boasting between 2,000 and 4,000 fish per mile. Three days and two nights
#2 A Weekend On The East Carson River The East Carson River is truly a wild and scenic river. 22 miles of designated "Wild Trout" river make it a special sanctuary, teaming with large trout. A large amount of this wild trout section lies within canyon walls and is truly a magnificent area to fish.
#3 The Alpine County Tour A potpourri of small streams and big rivers. Because there is so much fishable water in the Alpine County area, it is hard to choose productive stretches of water when coming to the area. Let me take you fishing on the best stretches of water in the county so that you may increase your overall knowledge of the area. From Brook Trout to Brown trout, this two day trip will give you a solid base of where to fish in Alpine County hang out.
#4 The Big Fish Hunt This package is designated for the advanced angler because a solid presentaion will be needed. We will spend two days hunting the largest fish in the area. Keep in mind that we will not be fishing for fish under eighteen inches. Small fish are not the issue in this situation and the angler must be willing to make that sacrifice. The largest fish in Alpine county I have guided a client into is eight pounds, and larger fish are caught every season. Try your luck at a lunker.
#5 Overnighter on the River This package in cludes a four mile hike into the depths of the East Carson Canyon. The angler must be in good shape and have no medical problems. With that said, I'll lead you to the best kept secret in the Sierra where camping on the river is the only way to go. The fishing in this area is spectacular. Very low fishing pressure and big fish make it my favorite area to fish when im not guiding.
#6 The Pleasant Valley Experience(Private) It is truly an honor to be one of the guides to be able to fish and guide this private section of water. Pleasant Valley Creek is a splendid fishery and is one of the best small creeks is the area before it became private. A three weight rod is perfect and a delicate presentation is the ticket to success. There is a limit to how many anglers are allowed to fish this water so please make reserevation's in advance.
